§         Lead Engineer responsible for maintaining, installing, and upgrading Cisco Routers and Switches, Cisco Firewall Module, Palo Alto Firewall, Bluecoat Proxy Servers, Load Balancers, McAfee Mail Relays, Windows 2003 and 2008 Servers, Active Directory, GPOs (Group Policy Objects),  ArcSight Managers, and IOP (Integrated Operations Platform).

§         Design, implement and oversee lab testing environments as needed for various tests in AF Gateways.  Configure network traffic and attacks using Breaking Point Traffic Generator.  Capture traffic using Pilot Cascade and viewing PCAPs using Wireshark and Snort.

 

OCT 2008 – APR 2012:                            General Dynamics IT (TS/SCI Clearance)

 

§         Sr. Analyst working for 624 OC/ISRD working on analyzing and briefing cyber intelligence reports to leadership.  Assisting in analyzing cyber reports from a networking standpoint.  Working on answering any requests for information (RFIs) from various cyber reports.  Configuring and maintaining Microsoft SharePoint 2000 (MOSS).  Configuring and maintaining various collaboration sites collecting various cyber reports on classified systems.

§         CITS Liaison attached to AETC A6 and 624 OC providing technical guidance as required.  Tracked various projects and briefed senior leadership.  Assisted in planning for current and future projects.  Installed and configured Windows 2008 servers and Cisco 7606 routers for different projects.   Performed site surveys as needed.

§         Team lead for a ITS project to survey, design, and install Enterasys ITN infrastructure for Dover AFB.  2 Core Routers, 10 ITN Routers and 130 Building Switches total.  Working with base to create a mesh network with redundant capabilities.  Installed and configured 12 X4 Routers, and 130 C2/C3 switches.  Setup VLANs, Spantree, VRRP, OSPF, and Multicasting.

 

 

 

OCT 2004 – SEPT 2006:                            SPI/Abacus Technology (Secret Clearance)

 

§         Configured and Maintained Sidewinder 5.2.1 and Cisco Pix Firewall for AETC NOSC and re-engineered NCC Bases.  Implemented Firewall Request Forms, troubleshot firewall connectivity problems or firewall application problems, and worked on optimizing Firewall rules, ensuring the protection of the base networks.  Reviewed logs looking for any suspicious traffic and contacting the appropriate personnel upon finding anything. 

§         Configured and Maintained BlueCoat Proxy Servers for AETC NOSC and re-engineered NCC Bases.  Implemented URL requests, troubleshot web connectivity through the proxy server, and troubleshot any problems with the proxy server.

§         Configured and Maintained Symantic Anti-Virus Gateways for AETC NOSC and re-engineered NCC Bases.  Implemented Blocked Spam Emails, troubleshot email problems, and added new email servers to the exception filter.

 

APR 2001 – OCT 2004:                            Volt/TRW/Northrup Grumman (Secret Clearance)

 

§         Installed and configured Sidewinder 5.2.1 Firewalls for Medical Group for MITT Project. Converted Pix Firewall rules to Sidewinder, optimized the rules for security, and installed the rules on the new Sidewinder Firewalls.  Worked with Base personnel to configure routers for correct routing statements and acls.  Assisted Base personnel in configuring several new VLANs and cutting over subnets to the new VLANs.  Assisted in installing and configuring new routers and switches.

§         Team Lead for NO/IA Block 20,  configuring Sidewinder 5.2.1 Firewalls, configuring/optimizing proxy’s and ACLS

§         Ensured the CITS architecture design was still in place during NO/IA Block 20 (FRAPPE) installations which consisted of helping the NCCs move NAV Gateways, RATS Servers, MPS Servers if needed

§         Team Lead for CITS Block 5 at AETC and AFRC, installing and configuring CiscoWorks 2000, HP Openview Enterprise, NetIQ Appmanager, and NetIQ End2End

§         Team Lead responsible for overseeing the integration of CiscoWorks 2000, HP Openview Enterprise, NetIQ Appmanager and NetIQ End2End in order to remotely monitor and control Air Force Network Control Centers over Wide Area Networks

§         Performed site surveys for CITS Block 5 and NO/IA Block 20; work with customer to ensure ample power, space and HVAC for equipment and successful installation
